For all of you out of townies who LOVE London's famous Portobello Market for its' delectable vintage finds well I have some GREAT news for you. Two words...Supermaket Sarah.
It's a fab new e-business that offers a whole lot more. Sarah decided to leave the corporate world behind her and has set up shop in her own home. Her home, round the corner from Portobello Market where she has a stall, is now overflowing with treasures and delights and she welcomes visitors with tea and cakes. Yep she even holds special tea parties where you and your friends can dress up while enjoying her hospitality. Sarah has created a blog documenting her finds and the kooky, stylish Notting Hill locals visiting her market stall. The internet shopping experience on her website is super simple. Just click on any item you like the look of on the picture and it takes you straight to the shopping cart. I love her styling too. The haphazard display holds together by using blocked colour. Great tip to take away and use in your own home. Happy shopping! I'm off to try and nab the Jesus Loves Me flag before you do :)
Oh yes! I totally flashed on Supermarket Sarah's website when I 1st came across it this spring. And I wanted to blog about it... but never got round to doing it. What a fantastic concept, though!
I'm an interiors addict and I'm currently a judge on Top Design Australia. I have been involved with quite a few loved interior magazines across the globe. I was Associate Editor @ British ELLE Decoration and Homes Editor @ Livingetc. I have consulted for StudioIlse, WGSN and IKEA. What really interests me is how we all live in the space we call home. As much as I want to know about the latest chair, must-have-accessory and hottest trends - the thing that gets me really excited is how we use our everyday objects. This blog is a chance to explore, laugh and relate to different people and families from across the globe who all have one thing in common. They love their home. Enjoy
