 Instantly you know something is a good idea when you here yourself say "I can do that". 

All you need is some MDF,  jigsaw and a little bit of imagination. This Amsterdam apartment titled Home 07 features a series of cabinets with laser-cut holes which double as handles.

Dutch interior architects i29 have created what could be a very bland white open plan kitchen and living area into an environment full of depth, creativity and a place to hide and show off the owners belongings. 

I love it and want to have a go with my wardrobe in my bedroom! Wish me luck.

Winter Wonderland

We had snow today! It was magic to look out the window and see everything covered in white fluffiness. It was like being captured inside a fairytale. Growing up in sunny Australia I'm useless walking on icy footpaths. An elderly lady with a walking stick wobbled past me when I was slipping and sliding to work. I hate to think what I looked like from behind. Anyone fancy a snow fight?

  There is never enough dining chairs so make sure you stock up and never let them go. I love mix and match but why not try to stick with one colour... LOVE IT!

This shoot makes me giddy. Suzanne and Damian probably don't know this but they inspired me when I started out in Australia to do what I do. Their shoots have always been breathtakingly beautiful and what makes them stand out is how they create IDEAS that most haven't thought up. Suzanne started her career styling at British ELLE Decoration under the editorship of Ilse Crawford and then moved onto styling the iconic Habitat catalogues. Damian has helped set the tone in how modern interiors are photographed in our favourite magazines. The duo have been working together almost forever.
