SnOOp's Editor Amanda Talbot shows off her Nike trainers; Shokki collection by Laurent Corio |
I'm not going to say sorry about how SnOOp is harping on about the only way to make neon's work in the home is to combine the bright pops of colour with sophisticated neutrals. I promise this will mean by the time this fashion fad is over you will not end up with a space that will be "OMG what have I done".

Look at those tennis shoes... I WANT a pair!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday Dear! xo
Oh, and pop by today for my perfume GIVEAWAY!!
Good advice...I get so tired of magazines making arbitrary lists of this month's must have item or trend or color. A person could spend all their money chasing a look for their home or wardrobe that is only hot for a month and will soon be "last season." I think what is great is when a new trend can inspire you to look at something in a new way or be a little adventurous and try something fun for a bit of a change, but don't lose sight of what your look is and what you love...design should be a reflection of you, not some editor's list! Ok, rant over...
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your earlier post with the book bed...that is the most brilliant thing and I would have killed to have that when I was a kid! So much fun.
these shoes are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI agree with The French Mouse that the "design should be a reflection of you".
Does this mean I won't regret the neon green scarf I just bought?! Oh dear, I'm already wondering! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to have a touch of the color of the moment. Keeps you current!
Hope you had a great day!

COOL TRAINERS, AMANDA! Couldn't agree more with your advice of using neutrals with bright colours, I harp on about it too and will continue to do so!
