King Size Bed's Outsell Doubles - But Is Bigger Better?

Sales of king-size beds have overtaken ordinary doubles for the first time as middle-class couples increasingly see their beds as "social spaces" rather than just places to sleep tells UK newspaper The Telegraph. This echos what SnOOp reported in More Than A Bed. 


In the UK space is becoming precious so is a big bed better? Do we as adults need to feel safe and cocooned to get a solid snooze? Fashion label Cosmic Wonder has explored this idea and taken the same approach as Baby Barolo luxury bunting bag that keeps infants cozy  by giving a baby sense of security that they are close to the womb.
